Dream team: how to find the perfect kitchen renovators

The early stages of kitchen renovations are super exciting. You get to consider all your fabulous options, with everything from floor plans to new pans on the agenda. Each element of these early stages is an exciting step towards building your dream space, one in which you can feel truly happy to create culinary wonders like you were in a Michelin-starred space!

One of the most important aspects of these early stages is choosing the right remodel team. Sydney - being the urban metropolis it is - is replete with renovators eager to turn your space into a gastronomical wonderland, but how can you be sure they are the right team for you?

There are numerous things to look out for when it comes to finding the perfect renovations team, and here are they are and ready for you to put into effect:

  1. Do your research

We can’t stress this enough when it comes to the best custom kitchens Western Sydney has. Research is essential to knowing that your chosen team is passionate and has the rep to produce an incredible result for your home. So, don’t simply go with the very first team you come across unless you read into them and find that, yes! They are an awesome renovations team with a solid reputation.

One of the best places to start your renovator research is to find a list of companies operating in your area. Next, narrow down that list based upon their Google reviews - do they have a list of positive reviews from happy clients who have no problem attesting to the awesome job they did for their homes?

If so, that’s a pretty good way to know that they are a team who cares about what they do and has an eye for producing amazing results for their happy clients!

  1. Ask for references

Sure, Google reviews are a fabulous place to start your search for the perfect renovations team, but they are really just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to understanding the work a company does and whether or not they are right for you.

So, if you are holding an initial consultation with your prospective renovators, be sure to ask them for one or two references for previous clients. If they can provide references (or testimonials) from happy clients who will tell you all about the awesome job they did then it is highly likely you are onto a winner.

  1. Ask to see a portfolio of their work

It’s highly likely that their website will already have a bunch of photos proudly showcasing their awesome work, but a more in-depth look is what you want to ensure that the team is one that will complete your grand kitchen vision.

So, even if you can see plenty of photos on their website, ask for a portfolio of specific photos pertaining to different jobs they did in the area. It is imperative that you choose a team who will match your vision as there are many roads this kind of remodel can take, and some might not be those you were hoping for!

  1. Ask when they can start?

When can they start? Are they ready to get going soon? To take on your vision and turn into a fabulous reality? Or, did they umm and ahh about when they could possibly get the ball rolling? If it was the former, awesome! If it were the latter, you might want to look into finding a team who has the passion to treat your home as its number one priority!
