Thredbo and Skrewball Whiskey Are Bringing a Massive Après Party to the Slopes This Winter

Australia's largest alpine resort is putting a new spin on après-ski this season.

Thredbo Resort has partnered with Skrewball Whiskey, the original peanut butter whiskey liqueur, for a winter collaboration that will culminate in a live DJ set from Australian electronic duo The Presets.

The partnership sees Skrewball integrated throughout the resort during the 2026 snow season, with themed cocktails, branded experiences and activations across multiple venues. One of the more playful additions is the transformation of Thredbo's popular "Snappy Hour" into "Nutty Hour," featuring cocktails made with Skrewball.

The collaboration reaches its peak on Saturday, 1st August, when Thredbo's Après Club becomes "Après Skrew," headlined by a DJ set from The Presets at Alpine Bar. Since forming in Sydney in 2003, the electronic duo has built a reputation for energetic live performances and chart-topping dance tracks, making them a fitting choice for one of the resort's marquee winter events.

The collaboration reflects the continued evolution of Australia's après-ski scene, where mountain resorts are increasingly pairing live entertainment with food and beverage experiences to extend the day well beyond the final chairlift.

For Skrewball, the partnership aligns with the brand's focus on unexpected experiences and social occasions.

Guests visiting Thredbo throughout the season can expect to find Skrewball cocktails at select venues across the resort, along with branded merchandise and additional activations designed to bring the whiskey brand's playful personality to one of Australia's most popular winter destinations.

Après Skrew featuring The Presets takes place Saturday, 1 August at Alpine Bar in Thredbo as part of the resort's winter entertainment lineup.
