Masked Wolf launches SOUND WEST in front of a sell out crowd at Parramatta Eels triple-header event

Australian rapper Masked Wolf led an incredible lineup of artists performing in front of a sell-out crowd today for The Parramatta Eels triple-header event at CommBank Stadium, officially launching SOUND WEST Music + Technology Festival taking place all week in Parramatta.

The Eels partnered with SOUND WEST in a music and rugby league collaboration providing the opportunity to see performances from both established and emerging Home-Grown talent. A sold out crowd attended today’s blockbuster event that kicked off at 11am with the NSW Cup, followed by the NRLW Season Opener and the Eels v Bulldogs NRL round 23.

A stellar line up including global sensation Masked Wolf, Western Sydney hip hop star A.GIRL, Masked Wolf’s own DJ K-Time and emerging artists coming through Campbelltown Arts Centre’s Conscious Program Clarissa Mei and P-Smid showcased the immense talent coming out of Western Sydney and beyond.

Beyond Saturday’s game, SOUND WEST will feature a line up of over 15 live events and music programs in various Parramatta venues through to Sunday August 28 and will also  feature a SOUND WEST conference day which will include 35 keynote sessions and workshops on Thursday, August 25 at CommBank Stadium.

SOUND WEST is secured by the NSW Government via its tourism and major events agency Destination NSW, together with the City of Parramatta, and will be held in Parramatta from Saturday August 20 to Sunday 28 August, 2022. The program line-up, brings together brilliant minds, industry leaders and music enthusiasts to network and enjoy the creativity of Greater Western Sydney artists.
