Hunter Valley Mega Creatures is back these school holidays

DISCOVER AMAZING MEGA CREATURES IN THE GARDENS THESE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
Explore the Hunter Valley Gardens and roam amongst the dinosaurs these school holidays as you make special memories at Mega Creatures. Open from Saturday 2nd April until Sunday 1st May 2022, this perfect day out is only a short two-hour drive from Sydney with rides, Easter Egg hunts, interactive fossil digs and giant animatronic animals for all the family to enjoy.
Keep an eye out for stomping dinosaurs that wander through the Gardens for your first encounter with a life-sized mega creature, an experience the kids will be sure to remember. Step back in time and explore the Dino Land to meet the cutest dinosaur families, including a friendly T-Rex, Stegosaurus, and benevolent Triceratops. There will be a flying Pterosaur taking over the sky, a 3 metre tall Woolly Mammoth wandering below and a family of gigantic, crawling insects.
As the sun sets at Hunter Valley Gardens, pre-historic and mythical creatures will come alive for the Mega Creatures Night Safari. Beware as you entered the Sunken Garden, a colony of fire-breathing dragons have made camp around an erupting volcano. The illuminated Spider Ally will leave your skin tingling as you walk through the home of monster spiders.
Once you’ve finished exploring, grab a ride token and head over to The Swing Chair, Giant Ferris Wheel and Superslide for the little ones with lion hearts or choose to take it easy on The Carousel. The 25-metre-tall Ferris Wheel will also offer you incredible, panoramic views of the Gardens and will be your only chance to see the dinosaurs from above.
Be a lifelong learner these school holidays and follow the Fossil Path to discover amazing dinosaur skeletons. Or better yet, head over to Adventure Land and allow the kids to enjoy an interactive play space, with dinosaur gardens to discover, hidden fossils to be dug up by budding archaeologists.
Visit the Gardens over the Easter long weekend to get a visit from a certain, hopping Easter bunny available for photo opportunities. The kids will love the Giant Easter Egg Hunt with thousands of brightly coloured eggs to collect, which will be hidden amongst the trees and flowerbeds.

Hunter Valley Gardens is blooming with family fun these School Holidays. Mega Creatures will be open every day 9am – 4pm from 2nd April – 1st May. Rides are open between 10am – 4pm. The Mega Creatures Night Safari with be open every night from 5:30pm until 10pm. The Easter Egg Hunt will be running each hour between 11am – 2pm for the entire Easter weekend, from 15th-18th April.
