NRMA Partnership Unlocks Cinema and Hotel Discounts

  • Written by: The Times

My NRMA Rewards, one of Australia’s largest membership and benefits programs, has announced a new partnership with leading entertainment and hospitality company EVT.

The partnership unlocks exclusive discounts for members across EVT cinemas and hotels nationwide including exclusive offers of up to 30 per cent across the year and all-year-round complimentary breakfast at Rydges Hotels & Resorts.

After a successful year last year, movies continue to be one of the most valued and frequently redeemed offers. Through My NRMA Rewards, members can access exclusive discounts on Event Cinemas tickets via a secure booking link, reinforcing the strong connection between the NRMA and Australia’s leading cinema experiences. This includes kids’ movie tickets starting from just $13.50 and adult tickets from $15.50, along with special discounts at the candy bar.

This exciting collaboration expands the My NRMA Rewards offering to include over 8,500 member benefits: from everyday essentials like fuel and groceries to leisure experiences such as dining, entertainment, and accommodation.

NRMA General Manager Membership Darren Jones said the new partnership had come just in time for the Christmas school holidays with discounts on hotel stays and entertainment helping to ease the financial burden on families.

“Many Australians are planning on holidaying domestically over the upcoming Christmas break and budgets are tight in a period of cost-of-living pressures, so we are pleased to launch this partnership with EVT to help provide some relief,” Mr Jones said.

“From today members will also be able to keep the kids entertained without breaking the bank by taking advantage of deals on new blockbuster releases, including Wicked: For Good, Zootopia 2, and Avatar: Fire and Ash.

“The My NRMA Rewards program currently has over one million member sessions in our app each month, whether they are accessing our fuel discounts, getting cashback on retails purchases, or planning holidays.”

EVT General Manager of Group Partnerships Clare Whiteman said “NRMA is one of Australia’s largest mutual organisations, with a highly engaged member base, and we’re proud to be a cornerstone partner in their Member Benefits program. Through this partnership, NRMA members can access exclusive accommodation rates across EVT Hotels and Resorts including QT, Rydges, Atura, Lylo and Independent Collection by EVT - as well as enjoy great value at Event Cinemas.

From a family night at the movies to a trip away, together, we’re delivering meaningful experiences that connect members to the best of entertainment and travel.”
