QVB Invites Locals and Travellers to Never Stop Exploring

  • Written by: The Times

After a challenging two years for customers and retailers alike, one of Australia's leading retail property groups, Vicinity Centres, is welcoming back shoppers to Queen Victoria Building (QVB) for an inspired wardrobe overhaul.

One of Australia’s most iconic retail destinations, QVB today launches a new tourism campaign, coinciding with the reopening of international borders and an easing of COVID-19 restrictions to attract locals and tourists alike, reminding all of the joys of touching, smelling, and experiencing all its brands have to offer.

The campaign follows a diverse group of unique talents - stylist and creative director Petta Chua, architect Tomek Archer, curator and councillor Jess Scully, and storyteller Luke Currie-Richardson - as they discover their relationship with QVB and how it has helped shape their own evolving personal styles.

“We warmly welcome back international tourists to Sydney. This is an incredibly positive step in helping retailers kick start their 2022, particularly for Sydney CBD where businesses have done it tough over the past couple of years,” said Vicinity Centres’ Head of Marketing, Brand and Experience, Corrine Barchanowicz.

“We are excited to invite customers to experience all that QVB has to offer, whether it’s enjoying a history tour of the building or exploring our amazing retailers. The QVB is quintessentially Sydney with its grand historic facade, contemporary shopping and dining experience and leading Australian and international premium brands – the perfect location to start your next adventure.”
