THE MTick® ARRIVES IN AUSTRALIA

  • Written by: Times Media

GenM
– The Menopause Partner for Brands and Home of the MTick®, - has brought its life  changing, universal shopping symbol and certification for menopause-friendly products to  Australia, empowering women to search, source and shop for menopause with confidence.

Designed as a shopping solution for the 1 billion menopausal women globally, the MTick®’s  arrival in Australia will deliver choice and confidence to Australian women as they navigate their  menopause and shopping experience. Aiming to bring menopause, its 48 signs and  menopause-friendly products out of the shadows, 11 Australian brands have joined the 140  brands as part of GenM’s global Collective, to bring visibility and aspiration to Australian  shoppers wanting to buy products that can help them to live their best menopause.

To achieve the MTick® certification and to display the symbol, brands must undergo rigorous  testing and criteria assessment verified via clinical user trials and expert validation, to prove  that their products can help to support one or more of the 48 recognised signs of menopause.  So Australian shoppers can make powerful shopping decisions knowing that their choice is  backed by credibility and authenticity.

Supported by the passion and commitment of GenM CEO and co-founder, Heather Jackson,  who has a personal mission to change the rhetoric and understanding of menopause,  educating and supporting menopausal women everywhere to thrive, and live their best version  of menopause, is what drives her.

Making change happen, Heather said, “for too long menopause has been taboo, keeping  women fearful and unseen. The MTick® symbol of trust is changing that, putting visibility,

recognition and empowerment in the hands of menopausal women as they navigate ‘the  change’ with a renewed confidence and sense of product choice.”

The quest for change will never end for this ‘forever’ sector of society and Heather is  determined to create generational change in the future. “Menopause is an ongoing story that  will continue for women forever. With the MTick®, we hope to change the narrative, allowing  menopausal women everywhere to thrive as they live the very best menopausal version of  themselves,” she said.

Helping women to find these trusted products that can help support their signs and manage  their menopause, GenM has partnered in Australia with the Terry White Chemmart national  network of pharmacies, making access to visual product positioning, expert advice, support  and education available in-store and online.

The MTick® launched in mid-February, initially with 11 brands certified with the MTick® as the  trusted marque for menopause-friendly products. These brands include Promensil; Centrum;  Femfresh; Mitchum; Boost Lab; Biogaia; Dulcolax; MY Pause; Happy, Healthy, You; NuAllume  and Hey Sister.

“Navigating the trusted menopause market is made easier with the MTick®, delivering shoppers  the symbol they need to make informed shopping choices and help them to live their best  menopause, as I wanted to do.” Heather said.
