Kyndryl ANZ appoints new Head of Strategic Partnerships and Alliances

Former Head of Marketing to lead and grow Kyndryl’s local channel ecosystem and bolster technological capabilities

Kyndryl has strengthened its local leadership team with the appointment of Kimberley Marlay as Head of Strategic Partnerships and Alliances for Australia and New Zealand, based in Sydney.

Kimberley will be responsible for leading and growing Kyndryl’s local channel ecosystem. This includes deepening relationships with its key hyperscaler partners Microsoft, AWS, and Google Cloud to deliver a more seamless experience to customers as demand increases for hybrid and multi-cloud solutions. She will also identify opportunities to work with local partners to bolster Kyndryl’s capabilities across its six technology practices.

Kimberley was most recently the Head of Marketing for Kyndryl Australia and New Zealand and was instrumental in building the Kyndryl brand locally following its establishment as an independent company in late 2021. Prior to this, she spent over a decade at IBM in a number of leadership roles in marketing.

Ashish Kumar, President, Kyndryl Australia and New Zealand said: “Kimberley not only has a deep understanding of where our customers are on their technology transformation roadmaps, but also has built strong relationships with many of our ecosystem partners over the past three years. With strategic partnerships being an important engine of growth for Kyndryl, this winning combination makes her a perfect fit to lead our local Alliances team and unlock greater value for our customers.”
