JAM TV PRODUCES SHOW ME THE MONEY II

  • Written by: The Times

Lifting the lid on the AFL’s most chaotic trade period ever with the new instalment of the Stan Original Documentary, ‘Show Me the Money II’

Alongside Stan today, JAMTV, Australia’s leading independent producer of sport and  entertainment, today confirmed the production of a follow up to last year’s hit series, Show Me The Money

Produced exclusively by JAMTV, Show Me The Money II is a feature length documentary that lifts the lid on  one of the most turbulent AFL trade periods in the game’s history and the collection of colourful characters  that helped shape it: The Player Agents.

With unprecedented access to the final day of the trade showdown at Marvel Stadium, known as Deadline  Day, viewers are taken behind the scenes as the mayhem of the AFL trade period unfolds, with players and agents alike tested to their limits.

JAMTV CEO, Cos Cardone said: “We are thrilled to be launching ‘Show Me The Money II’ with Stan in  February. The first series was incredibly well received and this year, we go to a whole new level given the  extraordinary AFL Trade Period we witnessed.

The sheer volume of trades, the big names, the big deals and last-minute chaos has given us  something compelling for footy fans, sports fans and non-sports fans alike. Not to mention, it was the year  that gave us the Mega Trade.

Show Me The Money is uniquely brilliant when it comes to storytelling: it is unscripted AFL drama without a  football field in sight.”

This highly anticipated documentary will feature some the AFL’s most notable agents from the league’s most  prominent agencies, among them Paul Connors and Robbie D’Orazio from Connors Sports Management,  Colin Young from Corporate Sports Australia and Alex McDonald from Hemisphere Management Group.

The Stan Original Documentary Show Me The Money II will premiere only on Stan in February 2023, ahead of  the start of the 2023 AFL Premiership Season.
