Fast-Growing Construction Franchise Expands to Adelaide
A small-batch concrete delivery service which has fast established itself as an integral player in construction markets in Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia is expanding to South Australia, with Concrete Taxi’s first franchise in the state opening this week.
It marks Concrete Taxi’s 41st franchise nationally and will service 78 suburbs across Adelaide, offering a unique service to industrial and residential works with 24-hour ready mix small batch concrete delivery.
It is a welcome announcement for the construction sector as the number of homes under construction in the state surges to record highs1.
Concrete Taxi’s new Adelaide franchise owner Regan Grainger believes the service will be transformative for the state’s construction and renovation scene, offering a solution for contractors, builders, tradespeople and homeowners who rely on concrete delivery.
“Across Adelaide, demand for small batch concrete is exceeding supply. There are so many jobs requiring concrete, including homes under construction, landscaping work, fence post installations, plumbing pipework and retaining walls,” Mr Grainger said.
“Concrete Taxi is a fantastic alternative to using a large agitator for DIY jobs to mix concrete because there’s no wastage or need to pay for disposal fees.
“We mix on site and there’s no job too small, which will come as a big relief to many people who struggle to convince the bigger suppliers to come out to them.
“I love the idea of introducing a different way to get your concrete delivered to the many operators and homeowners across Adelaide.
“The old service model is due for a refresh and I’m just really happy to be mixing things up as the first franchisee for Concrete Taxi in South Australia,” Mr Grainger said.
Concrete Taxi Chief Executive Officer Paul Cherniakov said the opening of the first franchise in South Australia was a significant milestone for the business, reflecting the fast-growing adoption of the small batch delivery service across the other Australian states in which it operates.

Mr Grainger’s franchise opened in early September and is now welcoming bookings from households and contractors across Adelaide.
