Whatslively - The biggest World stadium tours are set to hit Australia

AN APP HACK TO PUT YOURSELF IN THE BEST POSITION TO SCORE TICKETS

AHEAD OF THESE ANNOUNCEMENTS

1 Sept 2023: With global sensations Beyonce and Eminem all heavily rumoured to announce Australian tours any time now - Whatslively, Australia’s only complete concert tracker, is the latest and smartest way young Australians are ensuring they score tickets and don’t miss out.

Thousands of concert goers around Australia are starting to download and use the Whatslively app more and more to lock in those highly prized concert tickets. The app is almost hack like with the way it alerts you to concerts from your favourite artists, before they go on sale and comes equipped with a powerful reminder tool to ping you right before on-sale or pre-sales with the correct ticket links.

Over the past two months, more than 20,000 users took advantage of Whatslively’s ‘remind me’ feature for Taylor Swift, Post Malone, Giveon and The Weeknd concerts. Whatslively is expecting a huge surge in numbers for world-class and highly anticipated stadium shows of Beyonce and Eminem fresh off the frenzy around The Weeknd.

Whatslively’s Trishanth Chandrahasan says, “Australia is about to host some of the biggest stadium shows yet with World Tours from Beyonceand Eminem set to hit our shows. Tickets will be at a premium so super fans and fans alike need to be at the ready to not miss out. The Whatslively platform is one way they can do this as we can send you an alert with a link as soon as tickets go on sale. Speed is key when it comes to securing those “must-have” tickets and this way, you don’t waste time searching the ticketing site, or even worse, trying to find the legitimate ticketing site.”

The Whatslively platform is integrated with every major ticketing agency in Australia including Ticketek, Ticketmaster, Moshtix, Oztix, Eventbrite and more, so for any concert you can be confident you’ll arrive at the correct ticket destination with a simple click of a button.

The Whatslively platform was created and is completely self-funded by Sydney based cofounders Trishanth Chandrahasan and William Xue. Both are avid music fans and tech enthusiasts, driven by a desire to make sure Australians get out to live concerts, gigs and Festivals, and most of all, don’t miss out on what’s happening in Australia’s live music scene.

“Whatslively is the only comprehensive live music listings company covering all of Australia, and the only app of its kind in Australia. There are other concert tracker apps but we provide so much more value to the live music fan in terms of discovery and planning. Our platform is the only concert guide in the world that allows you to filter concerts by intimate settings, theatres, large arena shows and music festivals so you can pick the experience, setting and type of music you want to see live. The app

also links to your Spotify and Apple Music account to intuitively inform you of upcoming concerts from those on your much-loved playlists. How good is that!”

Research by industry bodies estimates that in 2019, the live music sector contributed $5.7 billion to the economy in industry value added, and 9.7 million patrons attended a ticketed live music event. While the live music sector was heavily disrupted by COVID-19, there has been a resurgence in 2022 and 2023, with the Whatslively platform currently listing more than 5,377 gigs across the country, and counting!

“There is something truly magical about experiencing live music; it beautifully brings all different kinds of people together, to celebrate something so intrinsic to us all, music. Something we need to be doing now more than ever. Whatslively wants to make sure you’re not saying, ‘I wish knew they were playing’; instead we’re making sure you’re front and centre seeing an artist you normally listen through your headphones, live in the flesh and enjoying a surreal and memorable experience,” adds Trishanth Chandrahasan.
