1 Sept 2023: With global sensations Beyonce and Eminem all heavily rumoured to announce Australian tours any time now - Whatslively, Australia’s only complete concert tracker, is the latest and smartest way young Australians are ensuring they score tickets and don’t miss out.

Thousands of concert goers around Australia are starting to download and use the Whatslively app more and more to lock in those highly prized concert tickets. The app is almost hack like with the way it alerts you to concerts from your favourite artists, before they go on sale and comes equipped with a powerful reminder tool to ping you right before on-sale or pre-sales with the correct ticket links.

Over the past two months, more than 20,000 users took advantage of Whatslively’s ‘remind me’ feature for Taylor Swift, Post Malone, Giveon and The Weeknd concerts. Whatslively is expecting a huge surge in numbers for world-class and highly anticipated stadium shows of Beyonce and Eminem fresh off the frenzy around The Weeknd.

The Whatslively platform was created and is completely self-funded by Sydney based cofounders Trishanth Chandrahasan and William Xue. Research by industry bodies estimates that in 2019, the live music sector contributed $5.7 billion to the economy in industry value added, and 9.7 million patrons attended a ticketed live music event. While the live music sector was heavily disrupted by COVID-19, there has been a resurgence in 2022 and 2023, with the Whatslively platform currently listing more than 5,377 gigs across the country, and counting!
