For more than 30 years, Roofrite, a roof plumbing company, has been helping protect Melbourne homes and commercial properties with specialist roofing, roof plumbing and maintenance services. What began as a family business in 1995 has grown into an established roofing specialist working across residential, commercial and remedial projects throughout metropolitan Melbourne.

Founded by Director and licensed roof plumber Kim Gallagher and Co-Founder Paula Withington, Roofrite has built its business around a straightforward philosophy: "Quality Above All". This combination of practical experience and modern diagnostic tools is particularly relevant when dealing with older or complex properties, where the visible source of a leak is not always the point at which water is entering the building.

The company also works with established roofing products and materials, including Australian-made BlueScope steel products such as Colorbond and Zincalume for metal roofing applications.

Although Roofrite has grown considerably since it was established, its family ownership remains an important part of the business.

Kim continues to lead the company's roofing operations, while Paula oversees administration and human resources. Their daughter, Millie, has also joined the business, bringing hands-on trade experience to her role in Sales and Estimating.

That combination of long-term industry knowledge and practical experience has helped shape Roofrite's approach to customer service and project delivery.

Rather than focusing on one type of roofing work, the business has developed a broad capability that allows it to assess individual properties and recommend solutions based on their condition, requirements and intended use.
