Two Silver Wins for Crest Interiors at the 2026 Sydney Design Awards
Two workplace projects by Sydney fitout firm Crest Interiors have taken out Silver honours at the Sydney Design Awards 2026, both recognised in the Interior Design - Corporate category.
The winning entries were a fitout for financial services company Liberty and a workplace redesign for lender Plenti, two very different briefs that both leaned on Crest's approach to commercial fitouts and workplace design.
For Liberty, the challenge was space. The company had outgrown its footprint at Governor Phillip Tower and needed room to grow without losing the connection between teams. Working with design studio Hot Black, Crest reworked Levels 37 and 38 into a workplace built for how hybrid teams operate, adding capacity along with a broader spread of focus zones, meeting rooms and collaboration areas.
Plenti's project was less about square metreage and more about flexibility. With staff attendance patterns shifting, the lender wanted an office that could flex around its people rather than the other way round. The result is a workplace with dedicated team neighbourhoods, quiet rooms for focused work, adaptable meeting spaces fitted with upgraded technology, and a central town hall area built to pull the wider team together.
Project Director Daniel Greene said the wins reflected the collaborative effort behind both fitouts:

The Sydney Design Awards sit within the Better Future Awards program, which now runs across cities including Paris, London, New York, Berlin, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Melbourne, and Brisbane in recognition of outstanding design work worldwide.
