Visitors will experience a new aspect of the country which combines nature, biodiversity, horticultural technology and innovation and the culture and charm of its northeastern region. Reflecting the theme of "Diversity of Life: Connecting People, Water and Plants for Sustainable Living", the exposition will present a people-water-plant nexus to visitors who will have first-hand experiences and knowledge through their close contact with nature.

Throughout the event, visitors will have a wide range of experiences in the wonders of global nature, plants and cultures as well as the outstanding characteristics of Thailand and the charm of the Northeast. Exhibits will be displayed in the expo's three highlights:

1.Global Horticulture, Biodiversity & Innovation
Horticultural exhibits will be showcased in the gardens of about 20 countries/organizations along with the tropical plants of Thailand, the biodiversity of wetlands and horticultural technology and innovation.
2.Thai Heritage: Royal Legacy, Faith & Udon Thani
Royal contributions to agriculture, water and the conservation of natural resources from the era of King Rama IX to the reign of King Rama X; faith as seen in national artists' Buddhist-related works; and the 134-year-long history of Udon Thani.
3.Living Isan Culture & Experiences
The lifestyle of Isan (northeastern Thailand) will be demonstrated with foods, arts, music, handicrafts, 200 performances, festivals and special activities throughout the exposition.

For those who plan to visit Thailand from late 2026 to early 2027, Udon Thani will be a fascinating destination in their itineraries. The Udon Thani International Horticultural Expo 2026 will present the diversity of life and also lead to experiences in the greater dimensions of Isan including its World Heritage Sites like the Ban Chiang Archaeological Site and the Phu Phrabat Historical Park.
