Classic Cars Gather to Relive a Golden Era

On 12 September, Easyhome Mall hosted a classic car showcase, with around 30 vintage cars gathering at the mall for a distinctive celebration of automobile culture.

Guests of honour arrived at Easyhome Mall in classic cars, with a procession and send-off ceremony held for the occasion. The parade of classic vehicles was one of the day's highlights, drawing large crowds who stopped to admire and photograph the cars.

Classic cars stand as witnesses to the evolution of the automotive industry and carry shared memories across generations. The showcase used car culture as a bridge, charm andhe public to appreciate timeless vehicles while experiencing their enduring charm, and creating opportunities for cross-generational exchange.

The event also featured national songs, dance performances and various stage shows, celebrating Malaysia Day in an atmosphere that blended solemnity and festivity, and reflecting the vibrancy and unity of the nation's multicultural society.

18 Sporting Legends Gather to Share National Pride

Another highlight of the day was a meet-and-greet session with 18 outstanding athletes and sporting legends from Malaysia, specially invited by Easyhome Mall to interact and share their experiences with the public.

Guests included Datuk Foo Kok Keong, Datuk Zaiton Othman, Dato' Rajagopal, Stephanie Ng Mee Fen, Dato' Noorul Ariffin and other athletes who have contributed to Malaysian sports.

These sporting greats have represented the nation in various disciplines at competitions both at home and abroad, earning honour for the country through outstanding performances and unwavering determination. What they leave behind is not only records and achievements, but national memories cherished by generation after generation of Malaysians.

The event featured sharing sessions, live interactions, autograph signing and photo opportunities, allowing the public to meet these sporting legends up close and draw inspiration from their perseverance, resilience and sportsmanship.

Limited-edition autographed fans signed by the athletes were also given out on-site, allowing participants to take home a meaningful memento of this shared national and sporting memory on Malaysia Day.

RM1 Limited Goodies Bags a Hit — All 300 Sets Given Out

To let the community share in the joy of Malaysia Day, Easyhome Mall launched an RM1 Limited Goodies Bag promotion at 10:30am on 12 September.

A total of 300 goodies bags were prepared, each containing gifts and vouchers worth over RM300, including food, beverages, daily necessities, mall vouchers and various discounts — among them an RM100 mattress voucher.

Long queues formed before the promotion began, and crowds continued streaming in once it started. All 300 limited goodies bags were fully distributed, reflecting the strong public support for Easyhome Mall's Malaysia Day celebrations.

Beyond offering generous gifts and discounts, the promotion further reflected Easyhome Mall's commitment to sharing festive joy and giving back to the community.

Partnering with Lions Club International to Promote Community Health

On 13 September, Easyhome Mall extended its celebrations to community health and wellbeing, partnering with Lions Club International District 308B2 to hold a Community Health Day, offering residents a range of health services and information.

The Community Health Day brought together multiple medical, health and professional service providers, including the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM), Orthopaedic Specialist Centre (OSC), Prudential, traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, GEN QI AI Healing, Hearing Partners, and Melilea.

A range of health services and consultations were offered on-site, covering health screenings, cancer health information, hearing and hearing-aid services, traditional Chinese medicine consultations, health technology experiences and other wellness programmes, allowing residents to access information across different health fields in a convenient setting and build greater awareness of health management and disease prevention.

The National Cancer Society Malaysia also took part, providing cancer prevention and health education information to raise public awareness of cancer screening, prevention and healthy lifestyles.

Through the Community Health Day, Easyhome Mall hoped to extend the meaning of "home" beyond a living space to encompass the physical and mental wellbeing of family members, so that residents can enjoy not only a comfortable living environment but also a healthier, more vibrant way of life.

Mattress Fair Paired with Old Mattress Trade-In Offer to Elevate Home Living

As part of the Malaysia Day celebrations, Easyhome Mall held a Mattress Fair from 12 to 20 September, bringing together multiple mattress brands to offer consumers a wide range of sleep and home living options.

Participating brands included Derucci, Englander, Napure, Spring Air, Movao, Goodnite, Eclipse, Serta, Backpedic, Ezeerest, D&B Home and Dreamland.

In addition to special promotions during the Mattress Fair, consumers could also take part in Easyhome Mall's old mattress trade-in offer — simply submitting a photo of their old mattress to receive an RM100 rebate. Upon purchasing a new mattress with delivery arranged, the old mattress could also be collected at the time of delivery, easing the hassle of disposal and making the mattress upgrade process more convenient.

The RM1 Limited Goodies Bags launched on 12 September also included an RM100 mattress voucher. Eligible customers could combine the RM100 mattress voucher with the RM100 old mattress rebate for up to RM200 in additional savings.

Through the Mattress Fair and related home living promotions, Easyhome Mall hoped to help consumers enjoy special offers while more easily improving their sleep quality and home environment, further reflecting the significance of "home" as a vessel for living and wellbeing.

Starting from "Home," Connecting the Community, Celebrating Together

"Rumah Kita, Ceria Bersama" conveys not only the festive spirit of Malaysia Day, but also Easyhome Mall's deeper interpretation of the relationship between "home" and community.

Easyhome Mall extends its heartfelt thanks to MBSJ, MPP4, Lions Club International District 308B2, various government and community bodies, sporting figures, partners, brand merchants, the media and the public for their support and participation in this Malaysia Day series of events.

Moving forward, Easyhome Mall will continue to put community needs at its core, driving more diverse and meaningful events that connect with the community, and further bridging the distance between the mall and the community through collaboration across home living, health, culture, sports and lifestyle.

Starting from home, connected by community — sharing every moment worth treasuring.
